Enjoyed lovely lunch and took home even more incredible cakes! Visited the other branch on the Royal mile recently but this one is a must visit if you are looking for fantastic cakes!
The eggs Benedict was amazing, a generous portion for the price. The selection of cakes and pastries on display showed high quality and decent value. Only complaint was length of time it took for the food, coffee would have gotten cold well before it arrived had I not drunk. Coffee was also very nice by the way.Overall would happily go back.Update Went a second time for breakfast and to try one of their amazing looking cakes, this time service was much faster and the chocolate heaven cake is literally a chocolate lovers dream.
Best Patisserie in Edinburgh! Thw work and the passion put into those cakes is phenomenal! My family love to go there every time we visit Edinburgh! The breakfast and lunch choices are also very good! Will be back very soon!
Been here a few times and never been disappointed, usually getting takeaway cakes. Went in for the first time the other day for a sit in breakfast and it was amazing! The girls were very friendly and served us with a smile, and they were very welcoming. Cant wait to come back for more eggs royale.
What a find! After a very long bus ride from Fife to Edinburgh I badly needed coffee and fast. This wee gem of a place beckoned me with its enticing pastries seen through the window. I had a chocolate almond croissant that equalled the ones from Granville Market in Vancouver, which are decadent and something special. Coffee with it was equally delicious and I enjoyed talking with the server who was also from Vancouver. What a nice welcome, thank you!
