Great shop, very helpful and knowledgeable, reasonable prices on small need-it-now items and up for a bit of negotiation on big ticket purchases, exactly what a local bike shop needs to be these days. They cater for all levels and types of rider and the owner's enthusiasm for road bikes had me *briefly* thinking about buying a road bike. It's not a big showroom style shop like some of the more well known more central stores; they have a reasonably good range of commuter, road and mountain bikes in the 250- 2500-ish range, as well as kids bikes in stock. Where they score over the city centre stores for a new buyer is that the guys know their stuff and talk to you - without any attitude. Once you've bought the bike, they are genuinely pleased to see you and interested in how you're getting on with it!
