This is a bright, white, friendly jewel of a place.
Venue was bright, well lit, books well displayed, volunteers welcoming. Cafe and toilet facilities very good. However the brightest star has to be reserved for the book pricing. It is so much easier for sorters, purchasers and counters to handle a limited range of prices. My only regret was I didn't come earlier in the week or get a chance to return (family commitments) a mistake I won't make next year, Elizabeth - wee wifey overdressed for the temperature!
The well cafe is quiet and clean but the portions are tiny this is run by volunteers and is part of Edinburgh community food so it's a good cause but value for money is lacking.
