More worthy to go to the castle and the cathedral if you are short of time.

Liked the gardens and graveyard. Perhaps found the rector's grave who baptized my g-g-grandfather. Sadly, could not get in to examine baptismal records due to the music competition they were hosting that day.
One of the most picture-perfect scenes I have ever shot of a church and its surrounding gardens in Scotland.
A quiet environment in busy central Edinburgh. The park/cemetery has good views of the castle and a Tiffany window features to the left upon entering the nave, next to a large organ. The volunteers are welcoming and keen to impart their knowledge of the church. The church featured a beautiful piece by video artist Bill Viola when visited but the lighting around the display detracted a bit. Otherwise a decent spot for contemplation or rest.
