Well kept but a bit confusing to find your way to the lifts as there was not much signage and the rails are so closely packed together at different angles that you don't see that far without guessing/ asking. The staff were quite friendly down in the foodhall though and the fresh scones etc in the bakery is of very high quality.
This is a great store situated in Princes Street near to Waverly Rail Station. It has floors dedicated to clothing for men and women. There is a food hall and large cafeteria. Lifts and escalators serve the four floors. Toilets can be found on the basement level as can the order and collect counter.
Went in for a light lunch, sandwich and cake. I understand Saturday must be the busiest day of the week and we did go in at 2pm however, I do not believe that it's good customer service to only have one person serving at a till and about 2/3 people clearing tables when there is a large queue of people waiting to be served and having to clear their own table before sitting down. Staff situation was a shambles with no organisation whatsoever. I've given 3 stars for the excellent food only, even though it did take a good while to get served.
Really love their bakery especially sourdough. Another, their tuna and sweetcorn mayonnaise is my favorite. The most i love is flake with high fiber.Thank you for staff who normally take care and helpful.
Have always liked M&S for quality and value. Over the years, with these cheaper stores selling similar clothing, but not as good quality as M&S you now have a choice, Cheapness or Quality, Not Both! For lasting quality it has to be M&S.
