Really great library with heaps of seating and spots to work. You cant get in without a library card.
Whole new level, in Italy we don't have anything close to that.
The library is a great place to study and has a vast amount of resources in many different languages, making searching for certain documents or stories a lot easier!One thing I have a problem with is the fact that there are many students who reserve computers for hours at a time by leaving their belongings there.I went to use the quick use computers yesterday (meant for 15 minutes and less) and found that there were at least three computers cluttered with laptops and books.Some people dont even use the computer and use the desk as a study space which is extremely unfair to those who have more important things to be doing!
The library is large with plenty collections. I once could not find a book for my refefence and submitted a request to their website. A week later, i got notified that the book has been purchased and was now avaialble, such a good service for the students.
Fantastic selection of academic materials, and very helpful staff. However, also very overcrowded, and people tend to put their reading materials on desks and then leave for a few hours, to 'reserve' a seat all day. Accompanied with this, is the lack of respect some dim individuals have when they lean on friends desks and chat away in designated 'quiet' zones.
