I can understand that the items have to be protected from light but the museum had very low lighting and i had great difficulty reading the details of the items
Such a sense of history and the toll that war takes on people.
Anyone interested in the history of the UK should visit here, a great place.
Located inside the castle area.Smaller than I expected...Maybe due to space reason, there's more of soldiers' armour or swords. If you want to see something like a tank or aircraft this is not the place.
Whilst visiting Edinburgh castle with my young family I came across the National War Museum. It was a pleasant visit other than not being very pram/wheelchair friendly. People were annoyed at the pram and there was a lift at the beginning of the exhibition and not at the end. It was nice to see the history of war in Scotland. My favourite part was the Poppies and remembrance
