Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. After unsuccessfully diagnosing a problem after a 5 minute visit and offering no follow up expertise we were handed a substantial call out fee. Fine, have a call out fee, but at least attempt to follow up and diagnose further. Problem ended up being fixed for free by a gas meter reader. As you'll see from reading other reviews, every compliant has a shady response from the company, washing it's hands of any fault. Dreadful customer service and poor practical capability.I'd have literally rather thrown the money away than given it to incompetent professionals that take people for a ride.
I am really impressed by the service of Blackhall Plumbing - fast, friendly and they finally solved the problem of our endlessly running toilet! They diagnosed the problem quickly and correctly, mended our cold water tank and then found a rare part to fix our old toilet. This problem with the toilet had gone unsolved for years, with many plumbers trying and failing to mend the toilet, saying it couldn't be mended due to its age. So it's brilliant to have the toilet mended finally.
Had the underfloor heating thermostat replaced. The engineer Ryan was very knowledgeable in this field and had no problem in changing the part to get the heating working again. The call centre lady was also very pleasant, I received excitant service from your company thank you. IR

To be very Honest I cant understand the negative views!,I can comment that yes its daunting when you expect a Job done for a few 100.00 and the first comment is "How Much"!....But you said etc etc.I found Stuart and his team very Direct with a Professional approach and yes sometimes bigger emergencies take priority and things can change,but if you work with them they will work with you!.Overall my suggestion is people looking at the negativity and NOT THE POSITIVE REMARKS ! should just be very clear on instruction and understand all the costs on small job that can turn out to be a bit longer/Costly than you expected(Not the news that you want to here sometimes) but if Stuart can do it the most economic way he will give you the best options!My Honest opinion is if you've got an issue with your Plumbing etcdo not hesitate to call them.Tom StamperEdinburgh
