open 24 hours, nice to wander around while trying not to kill myself

HACONA MATATA i hate this fosh place, its so ew. Osda is da wwarst wver

Great especially if have car, because it's huge and has practically everything (paint, tools, pizza.. .). The staff are very very busy, and encouraged to use self service, but I like speaking to someone, so usually opt for traditional. Always always so kind and helpful. It's so big, often have to ask staff for help, but they never grumble (out loud, can imagine their speech bubbles though:-:-).Only complaint is the cafe. Only been once, with elderly couple, and staff were so so grumpy. The cooked food was overdone and looked horrible, at lunch time! But we had pots of tea, real coffee and scones. Delicious! But was ultra sunny, and the heat through the windows was stifling. But great to pop in for cheap beachwear, work ware etc. Two quite rich friends swear by it for workwear. Maybe cheap Christmas party dress. More money left to go for delicious meal in town or to theatre .Ask in all, really welcome addition to Leith!

I called 3 times and no one answered the phones, perfect, keep up the good work. I did the same thing to Tescos they answered after 9 seconds, not 9 minutes. And they directed me to the product I was looking for very easily and quickly, unlike asdas which is open 247 and Tescos dont

The worst customer service I have received at an Asda store to date. Staff are pleasant people but largely oblivious to customer needs, particularly when it comes to the self-serve section.Very irritating having to ask a member of staff for the privilege of a plastic bag, whom will now scan it on your behalf - presumably to stop you from stealing it to circumvent the plastic bag levy.Automatic customer gates at the entry routinely dont work properly, forcing you to walk around the tills to access the store. On the occasions these do work as intended, the stand for hand baskets is usually empty in which case you will need to walk around the store to find one anyway.Overall, poor customer service standards, particularly when compared to other well-run Asda stores. Not a slight on the majority of entirely pleasant members of staff, however clearly a store which suffers from a lack of emphasis on the customer experience and weak management.
