Very handy if you work in Edinburgh Park and South Gyle. Also good for Hermiston Gait retail park and the Uni. There's the tram stop right next to the station, if you need to get to the Airport or somewhere along the route to York Place where the train only goes to Haymarket and Waverley.
Very cold station without a toilet and lots of delays and cancellations. Handy for work though
Good connectivity to Edinburg and Glasgow. Next you find Tram station to catch Airport and Edinburgh city centre. Can go for shopping at Hermiston gait retail park. Tesco, B&Q, Tk Max, dacathlon and many more
Apart from free wifi, nothing much to do here. Fast trains dont stop here much. So have to wait in odd hours

A few seats on the Glasgow bound side, more space on the Edinburgh bound side.Beside the tram stop, so linked up there.Also beside Germiston Gait retail park, a place to go when the trains don't arrive. Like now, while I'm writing the review.Key issue is that only half of the trains stop here.
