Had booked on treatwell before seeing any reviews on here so when I did check the google reviews just before my appointment I was so hesitant because of the 1 star nail reviews. However when I got there all the staff on reception were so lovely and I was taken upstairs straight away despite being 10 minutes early! I got acrylics done and the service was amazing, Stephanie is top class, really knows what shes doing and pays a lot of attention to detail to make your nails exactly how you want them. On top of that she couldnt have been nicer. Beautiful salon, couldnt recommend more highly.
Dont usually leave reviews, but dont think anyone should experience this! To sum up, I came here to get my nails done (acrylics) as it had some pretty good reviews on Treatwell. I checked the prices on the website for nails which was about 46 but on treatwell it was 39.60 and I thought, pay for what you get so must be decent. WRONG. Couldnt be more disappointed with my nails. And to top off the dissapointment (I had put off writing this giving them the benefit of the doubt until now) one of my nails has just snapped!! ALREADY!?? I got them done about 10 hours ago... Definitley NOT worth the price do NOT reccomend to anyone, I am LIVID! Apart from all of that, the girl doing my nails seemed to know what she was doing at first (seemed clueless for the rest of the time) until she told me I couldnt get the shape I wanted (the shape I always get) because of my nails. She then proceeded to unsuccessfully find the size of nail that matched my actual nail size, putting on absolutely giant thumb tips which looked absolutely stupid. I honestly was about to get up and tell her to just stop. However, I thought at 40 price shell know what shes doing! Long story short she really didnt. Uneven sizes, lengths and I wish Id said something because I really am gutted, as its my birthday in a couple days and wanted pretty nails and theyre gross and one has snapped!! Frustrated because of how much I spent for these when they were not worth it. Dont make the same mistake I did guys! STAY AWAY!!!!
I had my nails done recently & it took 2 hours. It also costed a lot more than other places charge. Very overpriced. Aside from this if the nails lasted I was happy. However one has snapped whilst washing my hands. I am now away for holidays and cannot fix them. Wont be coming back.
Had my hair cut there for the first time today by Claire. All staff were so friendly and welcoming. Great relaxed atmosphere in the salon and I felt listened to about what I wanted. Love my new haircut thank you!!!
I got my hair cut on Saturday and I had a great experience. First of all, I called really last minute to get an appointment and explained that Id be coming on my lunch break from work, I was given an appointment straight away and the man on the phone was very friendly and helpful. When I arrived Amy (who also cut my hair) took my coat straight away and offered me a drink. The decor is lovely, the atmosphere is great and all of the members of staff were smiley and inviting. Just what you want when you go to a salon! Amy made a fantastic job of cutting my hair and she done exactly what I asked for. I will definitely be back, I highly recommend this place.
