I hope the staff in the shop are better than the delivery drivers. Nearly got ran off the road by their driver who,without looking,pulled into the road in front of me nearly causing an accident...no acknowledgement or no apology..rude and aggressive driving...will be taking my custom elsewhere from now on.
Great selection of wines and beers, all to a high quality. The staff are pleasant and good at offering advice on tasting notes, and every so often they have tastings on different wines. The prices are high, but for an understandable reason; they are well worth the money for the quality you are buying. They could do with more New World wines though, especially New Zealand.
While the products are fine, the service is abysmal upon checking out, my friend and I were both shocked at the treatment we received. There are other great places to get high quality beers and wines in Newington so we will not be returning.
I don't fully understand how they manage to cram so much wine and beer goodness into such a small space. The worst thing you will experience is Option Paralysis when faced with such an incredible range of great wine, beer and spirits. The staff are always in great form too.
I just wish it was on my street instead of this location - it's one of the best bottle shops in the city. Reasonable prices, incredible selection, but not on my street!
