The best Indian take away I've tried so far in Edinburgh and I've tried loads. Found it by mistake one night and am sure an angel guided me there because its definitely food of the gods. I've been working my way through the menu and its been a delightful experience.
Ordered a chicken korma which tasted very off. Went back there to get it changed for something different but for some reason got the same chicken korma which tasted still off (both the chicken and the curry sauce).Atleast the person behind the counter was reasonable but I can't justify going there again...Been their customer for about a year now and has never let me down before.
After my last two orders, I have decided to increase 'Shaplas' star rating back up to 4/5 after recent improvements in customer service & delivery times.Lovely food, the Chicken Tikka Masallam & Bombay Aloo have really got to be tried along with a fresh Nan Bread, personally I prefer boiled rice with mine, but the menu has a wide variety to choose from.Will be ordering again, the chef is the star of this takeaway - compliments to the chef.

Listen. I love Shapla. Their food is delicious. But also it does horrible thing to my insides. I dont know how to say this. Or rather, I dont want to put this on the internet. But I think its for the common good so here goes: Shapla have given my husband and I the runs and weve both been sh*tting ourselves for three straight days now. Dont eat it. Seriously.
