Ordered this evening for collection food was ready on time, the curry was tasty however spiciest mild curry Ive ever eaten! And I have eaten naga chillies in a eating contestThink there is some issues in the organisation of this business by the reading of previous reviews....

We ordered a home delivery, the food took 2 hrs to arrive and came without the pilau rice we ordered. I called them to say so and offered a bottle of beer as an apology. The rice came another hour later and was boiled rice.. Not what we ordered and too late to eat with the rest of our food anyway. The prawns in the prawn curry were tough as old boots, the other dishes were tasty but cold. The whole experience was utterly diabolical, I wouldn't recommend Slumdog to anyoneThank you for your prompt response owner, unfortunately, your manager did not get in touch as per your message
Spent ages trying to order online through their website from the Morningside store to use one of their offers only to fail miserably because the website insisted they were closed when they weren't. Tried to use their app from Google app store which doesn't work ('No Internet Connection' error which is wrong). Tried ordering direct from the store only to be told the offer was only available online, and anyway it wasn't valid to use on that day which I should have know if I read the T&C's on the website (I did actually read the T&C's and it wasn't mentioned anywhere). Left in disgust. 2 hours wasted. Never even got to try the food so can't review that. Not sure whether I'll bother going back. If I do maybe I'll get a chance to revise my opinion.
First time we ordered from Slumdog after recommendation! Delivery time was good and came well within their estimated time and food was excellent...infact probably best we've had. Will definitely be back & would recommend !!
