Definitely one of the best fish and chips in Edinburgh. Gluten free option is also brilliant, nothing comes out super oily and all the fish is cooked fresh when you order.
Sinply wonderful fish and chips. Batter is so light and fish beautifully cooked. Lovely friendly staff with excellent service. A true gem of a restaurant. Thoroughly deserved the accolade of best fish and chip restaurant 2018.
Extremely disappointed this time around. Ordered fish n chips and large garlic pizza with cheese at the counter. When I got home we found there was no cheese on a what I can only say cardboard with a sprinkling of garlic! Fish n chips were great as usual. I called to complain at 16:35, said they were sorry and would deliver new pizza. We waited and waited, no delivery no phone call. Decided to go back to restaurant and was told my address didnt exist and they tried calling but I didnt answer - no phone call was made!! They wrote the wrong address and number. Utterly disappointed, I know mistakes can happen but then not taking details correctly must be what they do- wrong pizza, wrong address written down, wrong phone number written down??? POOR SHOW
Great traditional fish n chips. . service incredibly fast and very curtious staff. I would highly recommend .. the food is cooked perfectly and the selection was great. It is what it is and doesn't try to be pretentious or anything other than...I think voted the best fish and chips restaurant in Edinburgh 2018 !! I had take out and the following night sat in restaurant. Great
Super clean restaurant! Great friendly service and the food was hot, tasty, fresh and good value for money. This is the fish and chip shop you need to make the effort to visit. Great job folks you are doing it right! Only reason you don't get 5 starts is because I only keep that for perfection...(my old woodwork teacher's fault.. perfection is almost impossible) I would like to give 4.9999!
