I love the film house but three people walked in front of me to buy tickets and when I mentioned, very nicely that there was no obvious way to Que the chap on ticket desk just looked bored bored bored - perhaps I was the 100th person to mention this? Well totally uninterested man - make a sign?
Went there to watch The Favourite. I enjoyed the movie, however there were a few noisy people in the back. Another person decided that it was enough and told them to be quiet. Other than that, the cinema was alright, excepting the toilets that could potentially be cleaned a wee bit better.
A really nice art house cinema. Shows a wide variety of non-mainstream films. Has a nice bar/ restaurant. Would recommend.
Talking only about the bar, traditional meeting point. Nice for a cuppa and light lunch. Interesting exhibitions from time to time. The cinema offers films from everywhere in the world and independent. Highly recommended.
Casual, relaxed cafe/bar. Good for a quick coffee before or after a film, or a longer meal with friends - mains from 10-15, including good veggie choices. Could do with more larger tables - five of us were squeezed round a small table better suited to two, as the few larger ones were taken, even at a quiet time. Big bonus is no loud music, so it is possible to have a conversation.
