VUE is pretty good, especially the prices which are very reasonable. The seats are comfy recliners with plenty of room in each row for folks to get past even when fully reclined. Screen and sound quality quite good, certainly not anything to complain about. Overall really good.
Great cinema, with many screens of good size. Wide selection of ice creams, hot dogs and other snacks. Recently upgraded their seating to very comfortable recliners with built in tables. Free car parking available at ocean terminal too
Fantastic cinema, went one evening with the family and was that good we came back the next morning for the kid's showing. When I am back in the area I will definitely be returning here. Love the new seats. So comfy I fell asleep, well I was watching small foot haha. Keep up the good work guy's and girl's.
Update Dec 2018 - all screens have been upgraded to leather recliner chairs throughout. Very comfy. Try not to fall asleep though! They have really good 4k projectors that ensure a high quality picture even when the film isn't in 4k. Although some have dead pixels (such as screen 8) which is very very distracting to me. I love this Vue. With every film, every day being 6 they are back to being the best place in Edinburgh for quality. Consider registering on their website and getting yourself a "Super Monday" code to see films for 4 on Mondays. The best seats in town by far and the best prices. Why would you choose any where else?
As mentioned everywhere before, the leather recliner seats make this a stand out venue. Seats so wide can even curl up on your side. Whilst everybody talks of the 5.99 seats, there is even better news. On Mondays, can see any film for 3.99. Need to register on their website, Super Mondays. Give email, they send you a code. Keep it. It lasts forever, not a one off. At till, they will charge you 5.99 but just give them your code. Down to 3.99. Don't forget, they don't ask you for the code.Brilliant.Oh and Vue policy, can take in own food and drink. No alcohol or hot/smelly food. It's their policy.Enjoy!
