Relaxed atmosphere, the exhibition of Old Edinburgh photographs brought back many memories...although i am a Glaswegian but the children playing in the streets brought back so many nostalgic memories of my childhood on the West Coast.Very impressed by the street notices which showed no traffic childrens play area during ... hoursetc
This gallery needs to become more popular since they always have extraordinary exhibitions. The current ones seem to even surpass their own high standards.
Fantastic art place with a variety of exhibitions. Normally 3 to 4. Free entry, great space and facilities. Baby changing, buggie space and now a Mimi's cafe!
You don't often get something free in Edinburgh, but this is one. Well worth the visit. I went to see the Robert Blomfield photography display and ended up going round the whole place. Worth a visit. Keep an eye on what's up and coming online
Interesting exhibit of Edwin G Lucas works while we were there. Slightly less so the exhibit of old black & white photos of Edinburgh, but others seem to appreciate them. Nothing else to see. Literally. Third floor was out of bounds on our visit. Average gift shop - tea towels, mugs, postcards, books. Nice enough but nothing special.
