Its a fantastic old building lots history if your imto that sort thing did the tour enjoyed it. Edinburgh is just full historical storys and this is one to visit.
The paper guides are less than helpful, but the room displays are great. Not the cheapest but where else can you see this?
It's an interesting building. However 2 floors mainly host panels telling the story of 2 famous characters connected to the house (john Knox and queen Mary's jeweller, on opposite political sides). Only level 3 has original interiors. They really are worth seeing!
