Lovely place to walk through. Lots happen here from Christmas markets to concerts etc. The park is always well kept and looked after. And the historical fountain is beautiful. And in the summer a lovely place to sit and relax or have a picnic. And great for families with children.
This is a lovely park that's kept very clean and tidy. Great to escape the busy streets for a few minutes or just as a place to relax on a summers day. If you are ever visiting I highly recommend a walk through the park.
Being from New Zealand the Christmas Markets here felt like I was walking through a movie set! If this isn't one of the most festive places on earth I will eat my hat. I cannot recommend attending enough. Handcrafted Christmas decorations, stalls selling mulled wine and cider, and even an array of carnival rides for children. A truly magical experience.
Loved every minute at Edinburgh Christmas markets. Well done, so much going on.!!! Food stalls amazing. Hot drinks, alcohol to warm u up. Hot dogs stalls, German sausage stall. All nationalities giving a wonderful variation of choices. Top class. Great Christmas atmosphere.As a family, we had a superb day.!! Crafts galore, gifts, chocolates, Pick n mix, woollens, decorations, scarfs n hats, shawls. Then the rides. The fair for older daredevils, the big wheel or Edinburgh Eye 9 per person. On another level, the rides and train station for the younger children was well done too. Excellent experience, giving you the Christmas glow inside. We even saw a gray squirrel enjoying some lunch. Lovely!!!
A great market this year with better selection of stalls than previous years. Place smelt amazing with all the different types of food and drink around. We went on a Saturday and found it uncomfortably busy but that's how it is. Still enjoyed the atmosphere. Buses on hand and regular.
