Is a good place to go to get something to eat or if you are looking to do your shopping for the house or to buy a gift for somebody.There are a number of food outlets as well as electrical/technology-based shops, there is a number of clothes shops on Fort Kinnaird grounds for all ages from babies to children to teenagers to adults to pensioners.I have found that all the staff in the shops are very helpful polite and friendly and will do everything that they can to make your visits successful and enjoyable.There is lots of parking availableThere are toilet facilities and baby changing facilitiesYou are even able to purchase a car from Fort KinnairdBe aware of time that you go to visits as during rush hour it can be very busy and have a lot of traffic
We love going to Fort Kinnaird, mostly all big store you can find there.But our Max time goes in Smyths as my son doesn't want to come out from the store. Busy in exploring new toys
Good range of shops. Quite spaced out so probably best visited by car than bus. Having said that, it's a pretty stress-free shopping experience.
All the big brands in one location, easy to shop with lots of restaurants to eat at. The Thai food caravan towards the administrative building serves totally amazing Asian cuisine. One of the best I've had since being in Edinburgh
Don't get me wrong the retail outlets are diverse and it's a great place to shop. The parking though is atrocious. It's a maze with no clear signage and the spaces are so narrow that you end up spending a lot of time driving waiting on people to reverse into tight spaces. I'm aware that at this time of year at Xmas it will be busy but this is true of weekends throughout the year. If your of a nervous disposition with regard to driving then avoid this place. Otherwise, bus it and enjoy.
