Lovely old building. Interesting shops. Clean tidy safe.
Some good shops, but not at the cheap end of the spectrum - Links of London, Louis Vuitton, Tesla etc., but the design of the street is very rectangular, and winds just blow through, cutting into you. Needs more trees and bushes to soften it, maybe a proper care with awnings.
Small but some nice stores, visited Links of London and they were awesome, friendly and helpful staff. Had my wife's bracelet restrung which is complimentary. I was told it would take a week but I was only in Edinburgh for a few days so they did it in a day. 100% quality service!
If you're rich or a payday millionaire then go here. They have a Tesla shop!! Also a few other upmarket stores. Generally out of my price range but I've no real complaints.
