NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! AGAIN! - The best thing for this cafe is call environmental health and close the place down! When will they learn! I honestly don't understand some of the other reviews, either they are friends of the owner or they are mixed up with another cafe. Whoever owns this place should move on and try out something else as they are quite clearly useless as cafe owners and can't even be bothered to clean the tables. Very poor cafe, returned in hope of a new fresh environment with great food and service. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be. It was the same old dirty cafe I previously visited with sticky tables and poor food. I ordered a chicken burger on a roll with salad and a coffee. The burger was a bland piece of chicken slapped on a roll. When I asked about my salad a piece of lettuce arrived with a slice of tomato and a piece of pepper drowned in oil! My coffee was also so disgusting so I left it. All for the pricely sum of 9.40!!!

I have been to this cafe for the last three years in October. Always a large party. Last year, excellent menu, service and price. A five star review. This year, unfortunately the quality has fallen considerably. Scottish breakfast had cold beans and haggis, quality of the sausages were very poor. A single mushroom with the breakfast whereas last year had a large flat mushroom. I don't recommend Troy anymore. Please go back to your old ways. Service and the staff though... Excellent!

Found this little haven quite near to where we were staying on our trip. We had one vegetarian with us and she was very impressed with the breakfast that we went back for lunch and dinner. There is a bring your own bottle policy with no fees for corkage which we found great. Lovely friendly accommodating staff. Food so tasty and freshly prepared. Looking forward to our next time there. We highly recommend this place.(Ann - Ireland)

The food and the coffee were tasty. Staff were friendly. However a bit slow. Only a concern because it was a work lunch break. Great location and venue. Recommend a cappuccino and the halloumi and sausage wrap!

I enjoyed the food here. It was a nice surroundings with staff that were polite and helpful. It is bring your own and they suggested that I try the beer cave nearby. No charge for corkage and they were happy to let us sit. The music was unusual!
