They are absolute cowboys, Ive had nothing but problems with my Astra vxr and there refusing to take it back. I WOULD NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM AGAIN AND CHECK THERE TRUST PILOT REVIEWS, IF YOU TYPE IN EVANS HALSHAW RIPOFFS ON FACEBOOK YOU WILL SEE ALL THE OTHER UNHAPPY CUSTOMERThe car bought in October was sold to me with fully defatted which is an MOT fail which they done on site and the engine management light kept coming in and off because of it secondly pistons went through the block so it had an engine replacement so Im without the car for a month I get it back without paper work and 4 days later its got a massive water leak and Im now wanting them to take back the car which theyve said no when its not fit for purpose but its now in the hands of the finance company, Also the cheek of Paul kavanagh the service manager when hes speaking to people is a joke, whilst my car was away they also managed to rip my bumper off and tried to cover it up
Bought a car from Evans Halshaw Durham which was sent from Edinburgh , it had not been checked or serviced had no inflation kit (an mot failure) one key, a slow puncture and was told it was ok. I asked about a service from Durham but was told it did not need one until September , just got a text from Edinburgh to say it needs servicing . would like to know if they really know what they ever check anything , not very happy at all.
Bought a car on 11th of December 2018, the amount of issues I had with a car is ridiculous, starting from car not having an MOT as promised on collection day , issues with lights , passenger window. lack of communication, vehicle remained with garage until 19th December on collection day on way home only to find out more issues with lights, window and having to go back and forward every week, not having a dedicated service manager, lack of communication between technicians, this is why I won't be ever coming back for my next car or recommending the place ..

Seen two cars I was interested in, was there for over half an hour. Several sales people seen chatting inside the used car department, Clearly didn't want a sale as it was raining. Not impressed at all, both cars were around the 20,000 Mark and I was looking to buy today. So taken my business elsewhere.
