What a great experience we had dealing with Peoples Ford Edinburgh when purchasing a car for our 17 year old son.The service was top quality, the salesman Stuart was very thorough and helpful, he was initially looking after the sale for his colleague Ben who was on his day off. Ben Miller who was the main salesman was fantastic and couldnt do enough for us, Ben kept me updated constantly with progress up until I picked up my sons car, very knowledgable and spent time going through every little detail.Also when callling the dealership the various different girls on reception were very polite and courteous.Would definitely recommend for the great service and professionalism we received, no hesitation in giving them a big 5 star rating.Thanks again Ben for your professional conduct.

Good service and listens to the customers issues. I had a couple teething issues , however the service manager was quick to address these and offered full transparency, which is the important part of customer service to me.

My two star rating is because Ive found Ford to be so hypocritical.The whole point of a service is to ensure your car is kept in tip top condition, engine longevity, and the stamps help to keep your cars value (amongst other reasons). Any garage will tell you this and Im sure Peoples have something on their website, just re-worded. This garage however does not hold the same values when it comes to your cars body and paintwork. You either wash a customers car properly, using the correct methods (this doesnt mean handing it over to a junior with a hose and one sponge), or you dont wash it at all. Theres no such thing as a complimentary half arsed wash. After paying for a major service, my cars wheels had the face of the spokes quickly wiped but between my generously spaced spokes and in the inside of the barrels were still dirty. And the bodywork had only been hosed down because only loose dirt had been removed. I washed the car the following day and what did I come across? Door and boot hinge grease down the corner of my side skirts and in the middle of my rear bumper.A cars paintwork is just as important as the engine and chassis. Do you know how much it costs for the removal of scratches and swirl marks, because thats what happens to paintwork when its not washed properly. And for the record, I wanted others to know about this hence why Ive written an online review and not dealt with it behind closed doors.
