I don't normally write reviews for consumer supplier/services, but on this occasion I felt I had to share my own experience with Boserepairexperts. I was reccommended via the Z4forum to contact Chris at Boserepairexperts after a number of members had their water-damaged Carver amps repaired.On that basis I contacted Chris who assured me he 'could do something with that' after I sent photos of the damaged amp.3 months later and he has stopped responding to my email enquiries asking him for progress updates or news of any sort and does not answer his business phone. I have asked him to return the amp in order that I can send it somewhere else for repair and he has also not responded to this request.Out of desperation I even contacted the pub across the road from him to find out if he was still actually trading and hadn't gone bust!It's really unfortunate that this started out as a promising solution to my problem with my cars' amp but sadly I'm now out of pocket and still without my amp as he still has it and won't return it for whatever reason. Very dissapointed.I see he has some good reviews here and from that it looks like he does actually have some satisfied customers. I'm therefore left wondering why I seem to be the exception to the rule after having contacted him and then sent my amp for repair and expecting some sort of response to advise me if it was repaired or not.I now have to source a new amp or re-install a new system as the Carver amp was specific to the wiring in my car.All in all, I cannot recommend this service provider. It will be a lottery if you receive your damaged amp back or not.If you would like to receive a full transcript of the email comms I have had with Chris then please pm me. From one minute he seems to have gone radio-silent for some unknown reason, leading me to suspect he had gone bust or something.! Update. After threatening with legal action, I was emailed to say that my emails we not being read due to someone there being ill. Promised to send back my amp. Until I receive it back I will leave this review as-is for now....' If I get my amp back I will edit the review in full.
Very prompt repair of Honda Sat Nav unit (2006).Also excellent after 'sales' advice even on a Bank holiday Sunday.Thoroughly recommend
Great company. Was like a gold mine finding this place. Had a water damaged amp on my Audi b8 b&o system.This lot sorted my amp to brand new condition cant fault them at all. Great prices and great service 5* guys. Im from greenock so I posted my amp up and they sorted it and posted it back in no time 5 ***** again. Thanks a lot all use at Bose expert repair

From start to finish Chris was incredible I think I rang him about 15 times all together panicking about my 1800 Bang&Olufsen Amp in my Audi S5 , it suffered the usual rain water damage in the boot annoyingly my local Audi denied ever even hearing of the problem and told me they didn't have the plastic rain cover to protect the amp.... on top of that they wanted around 150 just to look at the amp then a further 1000+ to repair I sent my amp to Chris and he received it on a Friday and emailed me on a BANK HOLIDAY Monday to tell me it was fixed I cant believe he worked on it so fast even over bank hols what an absolute gentleman... I received the amp a day late due to a mess up in UPS and Chris even refunded me the delivery charge I cant stress enough how much I recommend this company a pleasure to deal with and saved me an incredible amount of money amp is reinstalled and working perfectly in my car with the added confidence that he also coats the board?(inside the amp) with a waterproof residue although I will be installing the rain cover as weld when Audi "Find it"...
