Rang them up and they gave me a quote of 55 for what I thought was a hard drive error they said come up so I did they looked at it said it would take about 2 days. I phoned up 2 days later and they said it will be ready tommorow I went in the store the next day and they said it's still not ready yet. I rang again the next day which had been a week since I bought it in and they told me they couldn't fix it because it was a disc drive error and it was Sony's fault. Yesterday I took it to another repair shop and got it fixed the next day for only 25 and a 3 month warranty.

Absolutely stellar service. I rang up to arrange to bring my elderly television in, and when I described the problem, Paul told me what the issue was likely to be, and what it would be likely to cost to put right. When I brought it in, he looked at it for less than a minute, saw that it was in 'deep standby', turned it on for me, explained what had happened and why, and refused to take any payment. He also offered me a free second-hand remote control. I chose to bring my telly there because of the brilliant reviews he had received, and he definitely deserves every one of those positive reviews. Although there was nothing actually wrong with my telly, it's not something I could have done myself, and I would have been perfectly happy to pay him for his expertise, but he wouldn't take anything. I'm completely delighted, and recommend him wholeheartedly. He clearly knows his stuff and it's fantastic to find someone who could have taken the telly in and charged a lot of money, but didn't. I'd give him ten stars if I could.
