Fantastic coffee just off the main street of Edinburgh. Possibly the best coffee ive had in Europe so far. Staff were very polite and knowledgeable about there products. Highly recommend dropping in for a nice brew.
Lowdown Coffee in a nice little street next to the university has stunning coffee. If you are into coffee like myself and enjoy experimenting with many different blends you don't often get then this is a place you must visit. What I will say is that it is always busy with students. So if you try and go at quieter times then you will have a better experience. However for the serious coffee drinker I highly advise a trip here. You won't be disappointed. Staff are helpful if asked and will advise on certain blends and coffee.
A very simple and minimalist cafe which is translated into their food... simple and elegant but most importantly very delicious. Nice place to do some work as well (sockets available) when it's not too busy.
We came across this coffee house by accident, but so glad we did. The food is so tasty & the herbal teas are amazing. Ill admit though, the coffee was a bit overpowering for me taste wise and they dont have the biggest selection (I prefer strong caffeine, mild taste). It was nice, just naturally sweeter than Id drink mine. Definitely a new favourite!
Located in basement. Small coffee shop that offers also take away coffee. The barista made perfect coffee that tasted amazing. They offer a variety of sweets like rhubarb or carrot cakes. And for lunch you can have sandwiches or soups. Can recommend for vegetarians. Paid for a latte and a cake around 6 pounds and it was totally worth it.
