Cute, very small cafe. I enjoyed the coffee & brownie, however the cafe is VERY small and the seating was a bit difficult, quite cramped. Also felt the coffee was on the higher end of prices for Edinburgh. Overall it was good, would go again during a quieter time of day for a small coffee treat!
Terrible coffee. It looks cozy and picturesque, but 1) the quality of coffee is one of the worst you can have in the city (and I really want to support small-medium independent coffee-shops) 2) it is too small, therefore not enough space to serve properly the customers and 3) the service is poor/employee behavior is just acceptable polite.ps. The day I visited the toilet was not working (!!!??)
One of my favourite spots for coffee on George Street. The coffee is superb. Other good coffee shops have sprung up in the vicinity in the past few years such as Burr & Co. and Lowdown, but all in all Wellington is my go to. The wee outside area is a small hidey hole of calm and perfect to dip in for a quick scone and espresso on the hoof.
