Useless, useless, useless!! Can NEVER get an appointment, ever. One of the nurses doesn't even look at you if/when you actually get an appointment, she has you in for 5 minutes (if that). Was also told by the same nurse "it's not our job to provide you with cream". YOU'RE A DOCTORS SURGERY!! You pay your tax into the NHS and don't even get the service you deserve from it. This surgery really needs to get its act together before they kill someone. They have been misdiagnosing my mother for almost 10 years, now she's finally had her diagnosis from the hospital, they're still saying it's not correct.
Have had no problems to date. Even some last min appointments. Its clean and tidy.
As a new patient I've had no concerns with this practice. Staff are approachable, deal with queries quickly and I've never had a problem getting an appointment when unwell.
Rude and unhelpful receptionist on 13 November 2018 at around 9am. Timeline below:1 November: I got a prescription6 November: I requested online another prescription as the medication I was prescribed is not available at any pharmacy due to manufacturer issues8 November: I went to the surgery. The same rude and unhelpful receptionist told me that my prescription was not ready because their system was 5 hours behind.9 November: I called to ask the whereabouts of my prescription. The man I talked with said that my case was with the doctor and the prescription should be ready on Monday 12 November.13 November: I went to the surgery. The rude and unhelpful receptionist couldn't find my prescription and asked me to fill out another request and put it in the box. She said she'd mark it as urgent, which never happened. I'm running low on meds.
There are a barrier for medical support right at the gate, reception line. I have called to the reception twice this afternoon, tried to book an appointment. The receptionist told me to go to boots pharmacy. And also indicated there were no appointment coz doctors were busy for surgery! Receptionist is not a doctor. And I didn't mean to have an appointment right away. Now I'm dealing with the fever and skin rashes every two hours. I am international student and I have paid insurance for GP nor for Boots pharmacy advice. I'm kinda disappointed.
