We really enjoyed our stayed at the Marriott. Our room was very spacious and the view was magnificent. Customer service and friendly staff was a plus. Also, we love the variety they had for breakfast. Thanks.
Just spent three lovely days in Edinburgh at this hotel. The staff were pleasant and very helpful from the receptionists to cleaners. We arrived at 9.30 am expecting to leave our cases but we were told that our room was ready which was great after our very early start to the day. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room, we had our own kitchen facilities including a dish washer. Room was modern and immaculately presented.Breakfast gave a good variety of fresh food, cutlery, dishes etc were pristine.This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in and would definitely return and recommend to others. Location was fabulous, if you like to walk and explore this is the place to stay. Do not listen to negative reviews, I think some people just like to moan, there is nothing negative to say about this hotel. Edinburgh itself is well worth a visit, lots of interesting things to do for all ages. Beautiful place, lovely cobbled streets, charming and full of character. I am so glad to have spent some time here.
We stayed in deluxe double studios, they were great, quiet spacious. Nice breakfast. Very centrally located. You can walk to main tourist attractions in short time. The hotel is also dog friendly. I recommend to young families as the rooms have microwave, kettle, dishwasher, plates, mugs, etc. and tons of room.
Absolutely fantastic overall experience. From checking in with Mike on a Bike (Michael) which was smooth and pain free. To our room which was a complementary upgrade with Marriott rewards scheme. Breakfast was good - limited space so make sure you arrive earlier than 9.30am. Good location close enough to take a slow walk into Edinburgh city centre. Thank you Marriott for another Lovely stay.
Just returned from a stay at the Marriott Residence Edinburgh. Fab 3 nights. Room huge, Breakfast complimentary , we were only expecting a token breakfast but got a full Irish.Michael on Reception was so helpful, and gave us great recommendations on what to do. The only negative comments would be that it was too warm in the hotel, so they need to be more economical with the heat.
