Proper Edinburgh pub, classic interior, good beer and whiskey, friendly staff all make this place a local institution for a reason. And, they do a good old fashioned too :-)

No need to mention the great atmosphere and the well kept old fashioned interior. Always ask what kind if beers they have on tap, as there is something interesting every time. There is a tiny door on the left side just at the entrance, where one can snuggle privately with his friends and order through a cute tiny window, try it! Sometimes it could be quite cold so take your hat with you. People are very calm and it is never loud.
