Found this bar later on in our evening, which was a real shame. Great atmosphere, knowledgeable, very warm and welcoming staff. I'll definitely go back.
A small traditional bar with lots of old posters and mirror style ale adverts. Good range of cask ales with varied guest ales featured. Amazing range of single malts that the staff are very knowledgeable about. Artisan snacks are served but I can't rate them as I haven't sampled the food. There's a small fire which is nice to have in the winter.
I love this place. Tiny and off the main roads, but still so convenient and quaint! Great people working here that are wonderful about providing recommendations. Excellent assortment of beers.
Unequalled. Nothing pretentious or precious about this place. Small and friendly with a surprisingly huge choice of beers and whiskies. The bar-staff are always happy to help you choose whether you are a novice or a connoisseur. Brilliant place. Limited seating and choice of good home made pies if you need feeding as well.
