Good beer selection, spacious and great for function.
Sold out of beer, no Bailey's and no one in there on a Friday night. Reckon I had a bad pint in there (bottom of the barrel) and spent Saturday in bed. Too many better bars in the world than going back there. Shame as nice old place
Booked a table, arrived, ordered food, the chips were cooked in old oil and were cold and black. When we complained they brought us the same chips back in another bowl. The kitchen apparently closes at 8.30pm with no warning so we couldn't order desert. The beer tap was off and was never put back on. The only reason I give this place a 3 is because of a Sunday lunch I had here about 6 months ago that wasn't bad.
Awesome cooking. we were there for a corporate meeting of 50. Perfect service, food and drink. Thanks to the chef and team.
Nice pub, excellent bar staff able to recommend an ale.A very impressive building, the revolving doors are quirky, but I am glad we went through them early in the evening.The menu and food passing our table looked very nice, but we didnt not stay for food.
