bought my car here in 2016 sold it back to them in 2019, great experience no complaints
I wouldn't buy a used car from them again due to their poor after-sales. They were unwilling to fix issues and when I persisted they eventually took the car in for repair, but failed to diagnose and fix the issues. This went on and on until my warranty expired, after which they weren't intetested. I ended up taking it to my local garage who promptly diagnosed the issues and did a satisfactory repair, at my cost. Never again will I buy from this company at any of their branches.
My wife left her Toyota Auris today for a MOT, when she picked up her car from Arnold Clark she noticed scratches that had not been there before! She came back home very upset because they said that the scratches was There already and they cant helped her. Also they said that if she wants to talk to someone then she has to wait until the manager comes back from holiday and then he will call her if he thinks that this is necessary. I also need to add that this scratch look like from some tool. I VERY STRONGLY Dont RECOMMEND this garage !!!!!!!!!!
We booked via Celtic Legend which got us a good deal. The Arnold Clark Car Rental itself offered a really good service. The wait was short, staff was nice and professional and the car was in a perfect condition.They didn't have the car we booked so they gave a nice free upgrade. We had the full insurance so there was no deposit. The location is also really good, we were able to get out of the city in no time but it still has a good public transport connection to the centre. We would definitely rent a car here again!
We booked a standard car and they did not have it on arrival. However, they provided a much better one in exchange, which was almost brand new, for the same price. The price was very clear all the time, and did not give any surprises. They retain some money as a deposit for the fuel tank but if you return the tank full they don't have any problems to return the deposit. The staff is very friendly and the car was clean as a surgery room.Next time we go back to Scotland (and we will) no doubt we will rent from these guys. Great job.
