I want to say Thank You for the consulate workers for helping me sorting out a criminal record check.The thing what is still difficult to chew is that to get this document took nearly 3 months (I'm afraid to think how long would take to get a passport).I can't believe that in this days when we have all this smart technology around us it's still so so painfully slow.I hope that nobody gets offended but guys I can ashore you that this it can be done in 2 weeks time with just one time going to Edinburgh.I really hope that who can do something about it understand the situation and could work out a solution what could be more easy in both ways.

I promised myself and the staff at the Romanian consulate that I will write a short review. My passport was sent from Romania and I enquired whether it had been received in Edinburgh. I would like to say that I was profoundly impressed with their prompt and friendly responses throughout our email correspondence (response time within minutes). I have just picked up my passport and again, I had a pleasant experience. Previously, I have requested my passport to be sent to the consulate in London. It took them approximately 10 days to respond to my email. They never responded to my numerous phone calls. Upon arrival, the staff were very rude and disrespectful. For the staff in London, please know that your colleagues in Edinburgh are on your side! When I mentioned the experience in London, they went down the diplomatic route telling me that you are perhaps too busy, however, I see that as no excuse.
