After reading the many negative reviews of the Edinburgh Consulate, I was apprehensive but I needn't have been. I needed a PoA attested, but I made the mistake of going to Edinburgh instead of London. The Consular Staff could rightly have sent me away to London but they didn't - they were extremely helpful and sympathetic . After discussions, the Consul General attested my document and I am EXTREMELY grateful. The service provided was exemplary and professional. While I was waiting for my case to be dealt with, I saw 5 applicants being dealt with quickly and professionally. No problems. And finally, all the staff I dealt with spoke excellent English. A 5 star service. Thank you!!!!

Worst service....phoned atleast 35 times and no one can be bothered to answer a phone call...I guess they are on lunch break all day...
They have supported me to get the passport by collecting from Indian consulate (Edinburgh) office directly.with out posting As I explained them through email saying that I will not be available at home by the time post arrives & will not available for 2 weeks .They understood the situation and supported me.
