I would recommend you should post and avoid this office for an Indian visa at all costs, the service is poor , Ill advised the people are arrogant and they treat you like you have all the time in the world, the service is better in India , I would recommend that the staff get re trained on customer service , understanding the right advice give to And being efficient on timings I.e. setting customer expectations and not saying several times 10 minutes, also some teamwork might be suggested.
Worried reading some of these reviews but the reception and counter staff were delightful. Friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The process would have taken 10 minutes and been very easy had I not goofed up some of the details on my application form. The lady at the counter quickly spotted it and the receptionist helped me redo the application. There is one internet workstation with access to a printer, a photocopier and photobooth. It's a 15 minute bus ride from Princes St. If you are reading this, you'll have google maps. Easy to find.
Very positive experience at VFS Edinburgh. Staff very helpful and polite. Arrived early for appointment and was taken straight away. Had all paperwork and appointment only lasted 10 minutes for both my husband and I. Visas received in 3 working days. Excellent Service. Thank you
Arrived late due to stupid amounts of traffic. But the staff were super helpful and understanding. Got charged for a premium appointment but considering they could have turned me away since it was extremely busy, it was very kind of them.
The website doesn't work. Multiple pages/links are dead. The phone number is a call centre in India with operators who simply try to log you in to their website, which doesn't work. They will tell you this after an hour and ask you to call back later, at which point you simply begin again. You can email them, but they will ignore anything you write and simply send back a link to their website.
