This consulate is a joke, if I could give zero stars, it would be more representative. The woman that works there is incredibly rude, and has no sense of customer service, but you'll only find that out if she decides to answer the phone. Months can pass before she actually decides to do her job. Getting an appointment (when you do finally get an answer), also seems to be an issue as she is constantly on holiday, or planning to go on holiday. If you can avoid using this place, do so.

The worst representative for a country!!! This person that runs the consulate in edinburgh is the most rude non helpful arrogant human being you'll ever meet. If you have another option of doing your paperwork chose that,cause this " lady " in edinburgh is as helpful as a goat.I don't understand how they still keep her in position and not sack her.she is useless!!!Entelos zwwn!!!
If you want to get Schengen visa as fast as possible then go to Greece as a tourist. We got visa decision in 2 working days. Compare to Spain and Italy, where you cannot even get an appointment and then should wait for unpredictable amount of time to get a visa. And finally get spanish single-entry visa as I got last year.
